Boil Order Information
In the event that water pressure drops below 20 PSI in a portion or all of the Fountain Water District system, a boil order will be issued for the affected service area. Boil orders will be posted on the District’s website, on the News page, as will notices that a boil order has been lifted. The District also contacts local news outlets.

Service Interruption
To report a waterline break or a service interruption, please contact us. Emergency Contact Information
In the event of a waterline break or significant service interruption:
1. Call the FWD Office at 618-935-2121.
2. Leave a message if no one is available.
3. DO NOT CALL MULTIPLE TIMES OR DISTRICT PERSONNEL OR TRUSTEES AT THEIR HOMES.

If the situation persists or worsens:
Call the Monroe County NON-EMERGENCY dispatcher at 618-939-6464.
